dreamed
Of what it would be like
To say that I am truly in love with someone...
To be able to say out loud "I can't live without you,
And my world would have no meaning
if you weren't in my life".
I've always been too strong
To admit that I need someone,
Someone to hold my hand and walk beside me,
To catch me if I fall, And lead me
when I am lost or frightened.

To open up my soul and let my heart
Feel what it's really like
To give and receive
The honest, unconditional love
That it's been crying out for.
I've always longed
For someone not just to say the words "I love you"
But to see the love in her eyes
And hear the loving tone of her voice
When she speaks softly
And feel her adoring caress
That shows how deep her love truly is.

Something out of a fairy tale
